Terms of service.
These terms govern Poacher, operated by Exitus Holding, LLC. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. You must be at least 18 and authorized to use your payment method.
What Poacher does
Poacher checks a saved search or page on your chosen schedule and reviews potential matches against your requirements. You approve the preview and settings before an alert becomes active. We do not purchase items, book reservations or guarantee that every listing will be found. Source websites can change, block access or remove listings; availability and prices can change between checks.
AI-assisted matching can make mistakes. Verify important details on the source before buying, booking or making a decision. Poacher is independent of the websites it monitors.
Your account and searches
Keep your sign-in details secure and provide accurate account information. Only request information you are entitled to access. Do not use Poacher for unlawful surveillance, harassment, fraud, spam, or to access private content without permission. Do not put another website’s password in your search brief.
You retain rights to content you submit and allow us to process it to provide the service. We may pause a source, alert or account when access fails, balances are insufficient, security requires it, or usage would harm the service. We may ask for clarification before building an alert.
Prices and free credits
All prices and balances are in US dollars. Building an alert and its preview is free; setup does not deduct from your balance or trigger recharge. Build allowances and review controls help prevent abuse.
New eligible accounts receive $2 in free credits, subject to the offer shown at signup and basic abuse checks. Promotional credits have no cash value and cannot be refunded or transferred.
Each alert has a $1 monthly minimum, prorated for the time it is active. Usage counts toward that minimum, rather than being added to it. An alert active for half a month has a $0.50 minimum; if its usage is $0.80, the total is $0.80. Pausing stops further minimum accrual. Free credits can cover both usage and the minimum. There is currently no platform subscription fee.
Your preview shows an estimate based on the search and schedule. Actual charges depend on the work performed, including source access, retries and evaluating results. A monthly estimate is not a fixed-price guarantee. We will show material pricing changes before they apply; a future platform fee requires notice and the applicable customer agreement.
Adding funds and automatic recharge
A saved card and explicit automatic-payment consent are required at signup. Saving the card is not a purchase. Free credits are used first. When they cannot cover the next check, automatic recharge can add $10; subsequent refills happen below $2, within your monthly card-charge cap. Smaller refills may be used near the cap where supported.
You choose a monthly card-charge cap of at least $10. This limits money collected from your card in that month. You can keep using your available balance after reaching the cap. Unused balance carries forward. Refunds do not reset the card-charge cap. You can turn off automatic recharge in payment controls and add funds manually. When available balance cannot cover more work and no refill can be made, checks pause.
Refunds and closing your account
Purchased balance carries forward. You can request the unused, refundable part of a purchase from its receipt; refunds go to the original payment method. Work already performed, reserved or awaiting settlement is not refundable as unused balance. Promotional credits are not refundable. Refund timing depends on Stripe and your bank.
Close your account in settings to stop new checks and recharges. Pending work and payments finish settling, then eligible unused purchased funds are returned and account content is removed. Contact us if you believe a charge is incorrect. These terms do not limit any refund or consumer rights the law gives you.
Text message alerts
Poacher listing alerts by text message are an optional add-on and are never required to use Poacher. By enrolling a mobile number in the app, you agree to receive recurring automated account-notification text messages from Poacher, operated by Exitus Holding, LLC, about the alerts you set up, together with the service messages that go with them. Message frequency varies with your alerts’ schedules and how many matches they find. Message and data rates may apply. We do not send promotional text messages to enrolled numbers.
Reply STOP to cancel at any time; we send one message confirming that you are unsubscribed. Reply HELP for help, or contact support@poacher.io. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Text alerts are available for US mobile numbers, and the price of the add-on is shown before you enroll. Your mobile number, opt-in data and consent are handled as described in our privacy policy and are not shared with third parties.
Service changes and responsibility
We work to keep Poacher useful and reliable, but cannot promise uninterrupted access to third-party sites or delivery at an exact time. Please do not use it as the sole basis for a safety-critical or time-critical decision. We may update or withdraw source support and will show interruptions in the app.
We are responsible for our service under applicable law. Nothing here excludes liability or rights that cannot legally be excluded. Material changes to these terms will be communicated to account holders before taking effect.
